About Me

My photo
Paul Sebastian
My roots are the Catholic Church & Duquesne, PA, thus a fan of Pittsburgh area sports & Notre Dame football.         Cradle Catholic; Holy Trinity School alumnus.  Also have a Byzantine Catholic heritage since my grandfather on my mother's side was a priest (Rome allows marriage before ordination).      My family is very active in St. Louis Church of Gallipolis, OH, where am a Eucharistic Minister to the sick; lector; 4th Degree Knights of Columbus; Captain of Annual Public Square Rosary Rally; help with Confirmation classes; member of the Steering Committee for the annual Diocesan Men's Day of Renewal.  Having been a lay missionary in Arequipa-Peru for 14 years, still have a missionary spirit.  Thus very much involved in church and community volunteer work, as Free Clinic. At the same time, I try to be a good husband & father and raise my four kids as strong Catholics.       Love teaching & have spent most of my career as a college professor.  Today am a member of the Campus Ministry Board & adviser to the Catholic Newman Club at the University of Rio Grande. Contact paulrsebastian@yahoo.com for questions, etc.
